A word of caution about stocks. This is no time to be acting on hunches or what a friend sees as a sure bet. In my view, much of the recent upward price momentum seen across all major US stock indexes has more to do with trading options and algorithms that use words or numbers to trigger buys or sells. Now might be a good time to drive the right lane on the interstate. There’ll be plenty of opportunities to pass in the weeks and months ahead.
